I've been using Jenkins for as as CI/CD server, and I'm not really happy with it, mostly because it's much too heavy for my use case. I may be interested in moving to drone, but I'm not exactly sure it would fit the bill.
Here is what I would want it to do :
* just as any CI, run the test suite on each commit/PR
* the goal of my app is to generate a database, and I actually generate two (one that is trimmed and the full one), what I would like is to run the two jobs (no absolute need for them to be concurrent), and have a commit status for each one
* last point is that the build takes some space (I left Travis CI because the builds could not complete due to a lack of memory), could that be an issue ?
Writing a custom plugin may not be an issue for me, so if drone does not allow this out of the box but a plugin can easily be written it's all good .
Thanks for reading and thanks for drone, even if I may not end up using it for this project it looks awesome and I may very well use it elsewhere !
